Welcome to Mr Muffin ("the App", "we", "us" or "our"), an English-language learning application available online at mrmuffinapp.com. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App and any related services.
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

For the purposes of these Terms, references to "we", "us" and "our" mean the above PFA.
2.1. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the App independently. If you are between 13 and 16 years old, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
2.2. The App is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that data.
2.3. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements or that you have obtained the necessary parental or guardian consent.
3.1. Sign-in method. You create and access your account through the sign-in options offered in the App, including Google Sign-In. By choosing one of these options, you authorize us to receive certain basic profile information (such as your name and email address) from that provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3.2. Accuracy. You are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with your account is accurate and up to date.
3.3. Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@mrmuffinapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3.4. One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
4.1. The App provides interactive lessons, exercises and progress-tracking tools designed to help users learn and practise English. Features, content, exercise formats and course structure may change, be added or be removed at any time, at our discretion, to improve the learning experience.
4.2. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, proficiency level, certification or exam result. The App is a learning tool and not a substitute for formal accredited education where such credentials are required.
4.3. The App requires an active internet connection.
5.1. Subscription plans. The App offers free access with usage limits and premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions ("Subscription"). Available plans, their duration and their price, including applicable taxes, are displayed in the App before purchase.
5.2. Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your card details — these are handled directly by Stripe in accordance with its own terms.
5.3. Auto-renewal. Your Subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as chosen) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Your payment method will be charged for each renewal.
5.4. Cancellation. You may cancel your Subscription at any time from the My Account page in the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to premium features until then. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a period already paid, except where required by law.
5.5. Right of withdrawal. As a consumer in the EU you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Because the Subscription gives you immediate access to digital content and services, by completing the purchase you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
5.6. Refunds. Refund requests are assessed in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. Please contact us at contact@mrmuffinapp.com.
5.7. Price changes. We may change Subscription pricing from time to time. Any change will be communicated in advance and will apply only to future billing cycles.

7.1. All content within the App — including lessons, exercises, text, graphics, logos, audio, illustrations, the "Mr Muffin" name and mascot, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
7.2. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes only. No other rights are granted.
7.3. You may not use our name, logo or branding without our prior written permission.

Your use of these third-party services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
9.1. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9.2. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure, or that any specific language proficiency will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Romanian or EU consumer protection law.
11.1. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the My Account page or by contacting us at contact@mrmuffinapp.com.
11.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other legitimate reason, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.
11.3. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
